Clay Shirky on shallow typos
Clay Shirky’s latest book Here Comes Everybody talks about how the Internet is changing the way we all interact with each other. Great read, and been getting major real-world famo; press love on NPR, major magazines, TV, the works. Required reading for all famo students this Fall (hey! this means you).
In wonderfully ironic fashion some nitpicky readers took to using some of our newfangled tools to help improve this book, in this case using Flickr image notes on scans of the text: “Given enough eyeballs, all typos are shallow”

there is also a really interesting conversation between Clay Shirky and Daniel Goleman (ny times bestselling author of emotional intelligence) which is available from the publisher at http://www.morethansound.net
